Task: Create a travel campaign for a fantasy location, include a billboard, website banner and poster.
Each design utilized photo manipulation techniques. The compositions were sketched throughout a series of drafts, then elements from each draft were used to create the different designs. Specific elements such as the mountain ranges, water, and dolphins were elements that remained constant through each poster design.

Task: Using screencaps of the short film Hardware I had to create a promotional poster for social media that invoked the feeling of the Superhero genre- Process: After receiving the images from the director each character was then masked out using the clipping mask tool to have their background removed. Then a new background was developed using a series of stock images that included stars, and a smoke texture was also implemented to create an atmosphere. With the new background, came the placement of the characters.
The characters were placed in a hierarchy that relates to the plot, where the actor behind the suit was placed in the top right of the suit in the foreground, as the adversaries were placed on the right and left, and the romantic interest right next to the leading actor.

Task: Within this triptych, each poster shows a stage of healing childhood trauma by grasping what the inner child is desiring, playing anyway you know how to communicate with the inner child, and finally growing from the healing into a new frame of mind.
Using photo manipulation skills in Photoshop each composition came to be, when viewing the three posters from left to right the viewer can experience the narrative of healing. Specific elements such as the Gameboy in the middle poster alluded to a childhood activity that many young adults are familiar with thus causing a subliminal connection to the piece.

Task: To commemorate the creator of the Static Shock comics Dwyane McDuffie the client desired a social media post to share with fans that brought Static to life in a way that hasn’t been seen before. Being a fan of the cartoon series in the early 2000s, I needed to nail this.
Process: After gathering references for the character from comics and cartoon series, I decided to create a custom model using the Human Generator Plugin Blender. From there I used the sculpt tools to make alterations to the model, then I modeled the clothing(mask, jacket, undershirt, pants, & shoes). The character was then rigged and posed into the desired position. Lightening and the disk below the feet were also modeled in Blender. The clothed character with the disk and lightning bolts were then exported as a PNG. Photoshop is now in use to correct any overlapping parts of the clothing, and to add finer details such as the background atmosphere, the hair, and the sparks coming off the hands and the disk.

Task: Create a two-part piece that utilizes 3D objects while adding textures to them. The composition and arrangement is meant to symbolize a message of Ego.
“As we walk the Earth, our minds begin to adapt to survive in a world ruled by consumption, fear, and greed. We lose connection of Ego/Self as we struggle to exist in the realms of the physical and become caged as we live, meanwhile living to extinction has become the new "Fad" and we are trapped in the life and death cycle of existence. Not until humanity collectively begins restoring the connection and understanding of the Ego we will never be cleansed”
